Vacuum Forming Moulds

Vacuum forming molds, also known as vacuum forming tools or molds, are used in the vacuum forming process to create three-dimensional shapes or objects from thermoplastic sheets. These molds are typically made from durable materials that can withstand heat and pressure, such as aluminum, wood, or epoxy resins.

The vacuum forming process involves heating a sheet of thermoplastic material until it becomes soft and pliable. The heated sheet is then stretched over the mold surface and held in place while a vacuum is applied underneath. The vacuum pulls the sheet tightly against the mold, conforming to its shape. Once the material cools and solidifies, it retains the shape of the mold.
